Welcome to the University of Lincoln Global Month 2024!
Here at the University of Lincoln we pride ourselves on our diverse and internationally rich community. To celebrate this, throughout the entire month of April staff and students can enjoy cultural events, celebrations, and activities across campus, including student-led sessions (such as Cultural Exchange Sessions) and competitions to win prizes!
Global Month is founded by the Global Experiences Team in the College of Arts Social Sciences and Humanities and has previously been a collaboration between numerous University departments, including International College, Business Society, Student Wellbeing, Careers & Employability and more, to create a varied calendar of activities and events for all to enjoy.
This semester, we’re happy to say that Global Month will be a hybrid approach of both in-person and online events so there is something for everyone.
Global Month includes a variety of cultural events, drop-ins, student-led talks, trips and competitions, community experiences, as well as workshops.
Look out for the Cultural Exchange Sessions which are student-led (coordinated by the Global Experiences Team) informal and fun language and culture sessions run weekly by CES leaders who are native speakers or fluent in the language.
Everything that we run and facilitate during this period is about culture, global experiences and opportunities, and creating a wider global community for our students and staff, and we would love for you to be involved!
