Welcome to the University of Lincoln Global Month 2022!
Here at the University of Lincoln we pride ourselves on our diverse and internationally rich community. To celebrate this, throughout the entire month of March staff and students can enjoy cultural events, celebrations, trips, and activities across campus, including student-led sessions and competitions to win prizes!
Global Month is founded by the Global Experiences Team in Lincoln International Business School, and is a collaboration between numerous University departments, including International College, Business Society, Student Wellbeing, Careers & Employability and more, to create a varied calendar of activities and events for all to enjoy.
This semester, we’re happy to say that Global Month will be a hybrid approach of both in-person and online events so there is something for everyone!
Global Month includes a variety of cultural events, drop-ins, business games, student-led talks, trips and competitions, community experiences, as well as business panels and workshops.
You can also attend cultural sessions from the International College, boost your language skills with Cultural Exchange Sessions, and join the Global Certificate where your participation can earn you points for an award!
Look out for Employability Week (7th-11th March) that features a range of international and UK organisations speaking to students about opportunities on offer – alongside an International Women’s Day panel event featuring local inspirational women from different backgrounds discussing their career so far!
Everything that we run and facilitate during this period is about culture, global experiences and opportunities, international student specific support, and creating a wider global community for our students and staff, and we would love for you to be involved!
